She is an expert at what she does. She truly cares about my child and his needs and advocates for him. She is able to see all sides to problem situations and is very good at looking at the problem without assigning blame and truly looking at the best way to approach situations. She helps my child not to see his flaws as shameful and bad and helps him to accept his impairments without negativity. She encourages him to feel good about who he is and to approach obstacles with patience, support, and positivity. She has been instrumental in helping my child to grow.

Dr. Lajoie has been seeing my children off and on for 10 years. She has been a wonderful support system for our family during various challenging stages. She is easy to reach and responsive to our needs. She has offered my husband and me excellent tools for our parenting toolbox, particularly as they are getting older, and the challenges are constantly changing.
